For your assignment:

  1. Write a 150-300 word blog post utilizing parallelism (you may write about any topic you like – see below for some prompts if you don’t know what to write about)
  2. Write a response to two different classmates’ [published assignment] identifying where they used parallelism – this is also an opportunity to compliment different writing styles you admire!

  • How to prepare your favourite meal
  • Tell us about your favourite vacation spot
  • Tell us what you are most excited for this summer

A good title is important! Create an eye-catching title for your story, one that would make a person who sees it want to stop whatever they are doing and read it.


Publish under your name, twitter handle, secret agent name, or remain "Anonymous". If you include a twitter handle such as @billyshakespeare, when someone tweets your work you will get a lovely notification.
